Kinn is Script's solution that provides greater security for your data center.
There is always the possibility that the electrical network could be down due to weather phenomena or maintenance of the national network. This would imply that your company's Data Center would be shut down and consequently, the availability of the data would not be possible.
As a solution and prevention to this, Script presents Kinn as an automated system of emergency plant that restores the autonomy of the electrical network in the Data Center.
The emergency plant process starts from the fuel, in this case LP/natural gas. This natural gas based system has many advantages such as low noise, zero odor, immediate access and mainly compactness.
The gas tank is connected to the emergency plant as fuel supply. This is where the operation of the emergency plant begins. The engine transforms the internal energy of the gas into rotating mechanical energy, which is coupled to this electrical generator producing electrical energy with controlled parameters such as frequency and voltage that replaces the electrical grid.
The connection of the Kinn emergency plant is automatically activated when no power is detected from the main grid thanks to a controller. This controller is pre-programmed to switch on the emergency plant after the main grid has failed and sends a signal when optimum values are registered to connect to the power system.
During the switching period after the power failure occurs, the UPS takes over the load and the batteries supply the required energy until the electrical generator comes in.
The UPS regulates the energy values sufficient to feed the Data Center and connect it.
This entire process is monitored and operated in real time remotely through the SCADA interface. No more manual start-ups!
In this way, the Data Center has uninterruptible power at all times.

Your company continues operations without risk.
